Linda Dow

Founder and Psychologist

I'm an AHPRA registered psychologist who is passionate about helping people build meaningful, fulfilling lives through evidence-based, person-centred care. My approach combines compassion, practical support, and a genuine belief that positive change is possible for everyone.

I have worked across a variety of mental health settings, including public mental health services, private practice, telehealth, community programs, and NDIS services. Throughout my career, I have supported adults, young people, and families experiencing a wide range of psychological and emotional challenges.

My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and tailored to the individual. I believe that every person is the expert in their own life, and my role is to provide a supportive space to gain insight, develop practical skills, and work toward the goals that matter most.

I have experience and am interested in supporting people with:

  • Anxiety and stress

  • Depression and low mood

  • PTSD and trauma-related difficulties

  • Emotional regulation challenges

  • Self-esteem and confidence issues

  • Life transitions and adjustment difficulties

  • Workplace and compensation-related psychological concerns

  • Intellectual impairment and learning difficulties

  • Complex and chronic mental health presentations

Therapeutic Approaches

I draw from a range of trauma informed and evidence-based approaches to tailor treatment to your individual needs, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Positive Psychology, Schema-informed approaches, and Motivational Interviewing.
